CELEBRATION OF LIFE: EGBEMA COMMUNITY SET TO HONOUR LATE MRS. MARADE INOR AT 86

The families of Anuwo & Simeleh have formally announced the burial arrangements of their beloved matriarch, Late Mrs. Marade Inor (Nee Anuwo), popularly known as Nene, who passed on at the age of 86.
In a statement made available to Delta Event TV, the family described the late Mrs. Inor as a devoted mother, grandmother, and pillar of strength whose life was marked by love, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to family and community.
According to the announcement, the deceased hailed paternally from Agun Quarter in Ogbudugbudu, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, and maternally from Ogbudugbudu Community, Kusiwei Quarter. The family also highlighted their strong ties to Ajakurama in Edo State, reflecting a rich cultural heritage spanning Delta and Edo communities.
Burial Activities
The burial rites will commence with a Service of Songs scheduled to hold on:
Date: Wednesday, 27th May 2026
Venue: 2 Oghene Road, Opposite Matrix Filling Station, Amukpe, Sapele
Time: 3:30pm to 6:00pm
The final journey and interment will take place on:
Date: Friday, 29th May 2026
Departure: Body leaves Okparavero Mortuary by 7:00am
Route: Via Pontu Waterside
Interment Venue: Ogbudugbudu Community, Egbema Kingdom, Warri North L.G.A, Delta State
Family representatives, Capinter Anuwo (for the family) and John Inor (for the children), expressed appreciation to friends, associates, and well-wishers for their support, while inviting the public to join in celebrating a life well spent.
Late Mrs. Marade Inor is remembered as a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother whose legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
