PUBLIC STATEMENT
I wish to respectfully acknowledge the leadership of the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, who, as the Chief Security Officer of the state, bears the constitutional responsibility of safeguarding peace, stability, and the overall wellbeing of our people. His actions and decisions continue to reflect a deep commitment to good governance and the collective interest of Delta State.
As a loyal and disciplined member of our great party, I remain fully aligned with his leadership and with the established party structure under the able guidance of our State Party Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka.
At this important moment, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my well-wishers, supporters, and all who have stood firmly by me. Your encouragement, belief, and unwavering support remain a source of strength and inspiration, and I hold them in the highest regard.
I wish to reaffirm my total respect for party supremacy and the sanctity of our internal democratic processes. I also call on all aspirants to demonstrate restraint, maturity, and unwavering loyalty to the party. We must continually remind ourselves that no personal ambition outweighs the sanctity of human life, nor surpasses the unity, peace, and progress of our dear state.
With particular reference to the Warri North House of Assembly candidacy, I wish to state unequivocally that I will fully support any decision taken by His Excellency, the Governor, regarding the emergence of the party’s candidate. I am committed, without reservation, to standing by and working with whoever he considers fit to carry the party’s ticket, in the overriding interest of unity, stability, and electoral success.
This is a time for unity, not division; for responsibility, not recklessness. I therefore urge all stakeholders and supporters to remain calm, law-abiding, and committed to the ideals that bind us together as one political family.
Let us close ranks and move forward with a shared purpose, placing the interest of Delta State and our great party above all personal considerations, while ensuring that peace and harmony continue to prevail across our land.
