South-South Door2Door Movement for Tinubu Officially Launches
Delta State, Nigeria – July 31, 2025
The political landscape of the South-South region witnessed a major boost today as the South-South Door2Door Movement for Tinubu was officially launched. The movement, according to its leadership, is a grassroots-driven mobilization platform established to promote civic awareness, community development, and massive voter engagement in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
In a public statement signed by Hon. Clever Agbe, National Chairman, and Og Godhelpme Wisdom, National Secretary, the group declared its firm support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The movement emphasized its intention to take the message of progress, unity, and national development to every home across the six South-South states—Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River.
"This movement is not just a political campaign organization; it is a developmental platform for civic education, voter participation, and strengthening Niger Delta’s voice in national discourse," the statement read.
The leadership also extended their appreciation to several prominent South-South APC leaders, including Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, Chief Great Ogboru, Chief Temisan Omatseye, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, and Chief Timipre Sylva, acknowledging their efforts toward regional and national progress.
The group is calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and APC state leaders across the South-South to officially recognize and support the movement as a strategic partner for grassroots mobilization.
With this formal launch, the South-South Door2Door Movement is set to commence intensive door-to-door voter education and party mobilization activities, promising to be a key player in APC’s push to dominate the region come 2027.
