Comrade Clever Agbe commended the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro, for the successful organisation of the Peace Ambassador and Advocacy Training for stakeholders of the programme.

While Speaking with Delta Event TV at the event, Clever Agbe the current chairman south south campaign movement for Tinubu described the training as timely and impactful, noting that it was designed to strengthen peacebuilding efforts in the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large. 

He explained that the programme focused on leadership development, alternative dispute resolution, and mediation, equipping participants with practical skills for effective conflict management and peaceful coexistence within their communities.

According to him, the training culminated in his certification as a Peace Advocate, a responsibility he said he is committed to discharging by promoting dialogue, tolerance, and non-violent conflict resolution across the region. He added that the initiative aligns with the core objectives of the Presidential Amnesty Programme in sustaining peace and fostering development.

Agbe also praised the inclusive nature of the training, stressing that ex-agitators, traditional rulers, and women were fully involved. He noted that the participation of these key stakeholders reflects a holistic approach to peacebuilding and reinforces collective responsibility for stability and progress in the Niger Delta.

He concluded by applauding the leadership of Dr. Otuaro, describing the training as a clear demonstration of the Presidential Amnesty Programme’s commitment to capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of lasting peace in the region.
