The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) celebrated the birthdays of two distinguished sons of the Ijaw community: Engr Matthew Tonlagha, Executive Director of Fenog Nigeria Limited, and Chief George Ekpemupolo, former chairman of Warri South West Local Government Council, Delta State.


Both individuals share the same birth date, seen as a symbol of promise for the Ijaw nation. IPF hailed them as pillars of the community and vital contributors to peace and development in the Niger Delta region.


In a statement by its national president, Comrade Ozobo Austin, IPF expressed gratitude for the duo's significant contributions, noting their roles in fostering peace and providing employment opportunities for the region's youth.


The statement underscored the pride felt by the Ijaw community in Tonlagha and Ekpemupolo, describing them as beacons of hope in Nigeria. IPF highlighted their efforts in creating jobs and empowering youths in the Niger Delta.


As they celebrated their birthdays, IPF extended prayers for the continued blessings, good health, and success of Tonlagha and Ekpemupolo, recognizing their ongoing commitment to the betterment of the community and the nation at large.
