TANTITA'S MD PONDI PLEDGED FULL SUPPORT FOR IJAW PUBLISHER FORUM'S, TO CHAIR FORUM'S INAUGURATION FEB. 29

 

The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) is gearing up for its upcoming inauguration, set for February 29, 2024, in Warri, Delta State. Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has accepted the invitation to chair the ceremony, boosting the event's anticipation.

Chief Pondi confirmed his decision during a meeting at his office in Warri, where a delegation from IPF, led by its President Comr. Ozobo Austin of Congress Newspaper visited on January 6. Other IPF members are Mr. Akemetubo Arex of Waffi TV, Hon. Mike Ugedi of Delta Event TV, Hon. Tamsokunbiri MMD of Parliament Newspaper and Rich & Famous magazine, Prince Perez Klint of Iduwini Voice, and Mr. Abai Francis of PENGlobal to mention a few. 

Chief Pondi commended the initiative of IPF in uniting to establish a strong platform and pledged his full support for the forum's inauguration. He emphasized that Ijaw people, like other Nigerians, have been unfairly labeled as militants, despite their legitimate pursuit of equity and justice. 

He highlighted the importance of Ijaw-owned media organizations in shaping the narrative of the Ijaw Nation and urged IPF members to continue their efforts in rebranding and contributing to the region's growth.

President Ozobo expressed gratitude to Chief Pondi for Tantita Security Services' support to indigenous media platforms and assured stakeholders that IPF would uphold its commitment to Niger Deltans. He also appealed for ongoing support from other stakeholders in the region.
