The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) has hailed Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo and the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, High Chief Engr Kestin Pondi, for donating a whooping N30 million for Barr. Etifa Jonathan’s kidney transplant.


Etifa, a Bayelsa-born legal practitioner, had in a viral video on Facebook pleaded for assistance following his diagnosis with a chronic kidney disease.


The Ijaw Publishers on Saturday expressed delight over the remarkable kind gesture of Tompolo and Pondi, saying it is a life-saving intervention.


“High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo and High Chief Kestin Pondi's recent donation to save the life of a promising Ijaw son is a demonstration of the Ijaw Spirit of brotherliness and oneness,” said Comr. Ozobo Austin, President of IPF, during a media parley in Warri, Delta State. 


While describing Tompolo and Pondi as a “Godsent to Ijaw Nation,” Ozobo stated that the duo are reputed for their philanthropic gestures to Nigerians.


“We equally seize this opportunity to admonish privileged leaders of Ijaw Nation to borrow a leaf from Pondi's generosity to, as much as they can, always extend a hand of help to the needy,” he stated.  


Ozobo and Delta Event TV Boss further prayed for God's ending blessings and favour for Tompolo and Pondi not only for his good deeds towards Ijaw sons and daughters but also for the generality of his charitable works over the years.
