KOKODIAGBENE, DELTA STATE — In recognition of the International Day of the Girl Child 2025, the Endybekx Initiatives for Children and Women Development (EBICWD), in collaboration with the Kokodiagbene Community, will host a special empowerment event themed “The Girl I Am, The Change I Need — Girls in the Front Line of Crisis.”
The event, which will take place on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, at the Kokodiagbene Hall by 10:00 a.m. prompt, is designed to inspire, educate, and empower young girls and women across the Niger Delta region to recognize their potential and play active roles in shaping a better future.
Speaking to Delta Event TV News, the convener, Ambassador Endurance B. Nwachukwu, described the program as “a timely intervention for the empowerment of the girl child in our communities.”
> “This event is key for our region,” Amb. Nwachukwu stated. “We want our girls and ladies to understand that they are the change the world needs. With the right education, guidance, and encouragement, they can stand at the front line of progress — even in times of crisis.”
She further appealed to individuals, organizations, and community stakeholders to lend their support to the initiative, stressing that “nothing is too small when it comes to building a girl’s future.”
Supporters and well-meaning citizens who wish to contribute to the success of the program can reach Ambassador Endurance B. Nwachukwu directly on 08060150693.
As the world observes this year’s International Day of the Girl Child, EBICWD continues to champion causes that promote gender equality, education, and sustainable empowerment for girls and women across the Delta region and beyond.
