Top Delta Leaders, Entrepreneurs Storm Warri for NADIS Entrepreneurship Summit, November 14

The National Association of Delta Ijaw Students (NADIS) Worldwide, under the leadership of Comrade Johnson Nanasintei, is set to host a major Entrepreneurship Summit aimed at empowering Niger Delta youths to embrace innovation and self-reliance.

The event, themed “Unlocking the Entrepreneurial Potential of Niger Delta Students,” will hold on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Warri Club, Delta State.

Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, will serve as Chief Host, while other distinguished guests include Comrade Shedrack Agediga, Chairman, Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board; Hon. (Chief) Favour Izoukumor, Executive Director, Social Services, DESOPADEC; and Hon. Spencer Okpoye, Commissioner representing Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in DESOPADEC.

Also expected at the summit are Comrade Nicholas Igarama, Chairman of IYC Western Zone; Hon. Kyness Oromoni, SSA to the Governor on Oil and Gas/Entrepreneurial; and Gen. Aroni Oputu, First Phase Amnesty Chairman.

Guest speakers lined up include Rtn. (Dr.) Vincent Udume Odogbor (JP), Amb. Endurance Bekenawei Nwachukwu, Zitu Tarelayefa Blessing, and Comr. Felix Okubokekeme Wisdom, who will share insights on business development, creativity, and leadership for young entrepreneurs.

According to NADIS, the summit is designed to “equip participants with practical knowledge, mentorship, and tools to build sustainable, impact-driven businesses that contribute to the growth of the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.”

Students, youth leaders, and members of the public are invited to attend this transformative event.
