Lucky O.O Ukueku, has extended heartfelt congratulations to High Chief Dr. Government Owezide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on his recent conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State.
In a statement issued on December 2nd in Warri, Comr. Ukueku described the honour as “a well-deserved recognition for a true son of the Niger Delta whose contributions to regional growth and national development continue to speak volumes.”
He noted that the award affirms Dr. Ekpemupolo’s numerous achievements and his unwavering dedication to peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and community development across the Niger Delta.

Comr. Ukueku emphasized that Tompolo has played a significant role in reducing youth unemployment, providing opportunities, and strengthening capacity-building across the region. “He is a leader with a heart of gold who continues to open doors for many and inspire hope,” he said.
The NDYFGG leadership urged other Niger Deltans to emulate Tompolo’s example and encouraged those who have benefitted from his goodwill to extend similar support to others, thereby promoting a cycle of empowerment and development.
